My name is Grizzly Ukiyo. I created American Modern Kitchens because I truly believe better design comes from a design studio and not a sales showroom. When we're not limited to a single manufacturer and their limited options, true inspiration flows and the end product is totally unique. 

I have worked for so many kitchen showrooms from Los Angeles to New York City. As an artist, I was always so disappointed that the focus was always on sales instead of design. I promised myself that one day I will open a kitchen design studio that focuses on art, function, innovation, and personally,  I think it's more interesting to meet a clients budget goals through thoughtful and strategic sourcing without compromising style and quality.

I created my team to be your trusted allies that will design your kitchen without sales pressure, sales tactics, or judgement. And I believe that this difference in approach has kept us more than successful and we are grateful.
